  5. Rescheduled - Annual Election Meeting of the Members

    Event Starts: October 10, 2023

    6:00 pm

    The Homeowners Association of Creek Valley in Garland, Inc. has set a tentative meeting date of Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. to hold the Virtual Annual Election Meeting of the Members. Please note, two prior meetings have been scheduled but could not be held due to lack of quorum. If the quorum for the upcoming meeting is not met, the Board, per the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs”), will adjourn the meeting and immediately reconvene the meeting so the election process may proceed, and the business of the Association can be discussed.

    There are three (3) seats on the Board of Directors up for election and Owners may cast their Ballot electronically either on the Association’s website or by email or fax. Ballots cast electronically shall also count for quorum, therefore, it is not necessary for Owners voting electronically to assign a Proxy. If you mail your ballot, please allow plenty of time for the Ballot to reach our office and if you assign a Proxy, your Proxy Holder must return the Ballot and Proxy together in order for the Ballot to be counted. All votes mut be cast no later than Monday, October 9, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.

    There are four (4) ways to vote:

  6. Rescheduled Annual Meeting of the Members

    The Homeowners Association of Creek Valley in Garland, Inc. has set a tentative meeting date of Thursday, September 14th, 2023, 6:00 p.m.. to hold the Rescheduled Virtual Annual Election Meeting. The original meeting could not be held due to a lack of quorum; therefore, we would like to encourage all Owners to please consider attending the Virtual Annual Election Meeting or submitting your Proxy and assigning a Proxy Holder to attend and/or vote on your behalf. The purpose of this meeting is to elect three (3) Class A Members to your Association’s Board of Directors and to discuss the business of the Association. The election or the meeting cannot proceed if the required quorum is not met.

    You may cast your Ballot electronically either on the Association’s website or by email or fax. It is not necessary to assign your proxy if you vote using any of the electronic methods above as your vote will automatically count toward meeting the quorum requirements. If you mail your ballot, please include the proxy and ensure it is signed and dated and reaches us prior to the deadline date noted below. Only the Owner of record or the Proxy Holder may cast a vote, and only one vote per household is allowed. The deadline for voting is Wednesday, September 13th, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.

  10. Reconvene of the Annual Election Meeting & Community Event

    THIS NOTICE IS TO CORRECT THE TIME OF THE NOTICE SENT MAY 9, 2022. PLEASE NOTE, THE COMMUNITY EVENT & MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 9:00 AM ON SATURDAY, MAY 21, 2022.

    The Reconvene of the 2022 Annual Election Meeting has been scheduled for Saturday May 21. 2022, at 9:00 a.m. for The Homeowners’ Association of Creek Valley in Garland. In conjunction with the Annual Meeting, there will be a Summer Community Event for our Community! We are planning fun things for the community, and we hope to see everyone there on Saturday May 21, at 9:00 a.m.!

    We will be meeting on the Common Area in the cul-de-sac on River Vale Road in Phase 2. There will be signs in the community showing the way to the meeting.

    Please don’t forget to submit your Proxy for Quorum only, in the event that you may not be able to attend. You may scan it and return it by email to lori@essexhoa.com or, you may complete/submit the proxy on your Association website (scan the QR code below).
